Generations, was conceived on a trip through Europe, when a search for textural and visceral connections to ancestral roots translated into a new art making process.

The series is designed to be “generative”, building personal iconography through the repetition and recycling of particular shapes, objects and imagery. The works embody how patterns and their alterations form familial identities over time.
